10 Week Programme

October 5th – December 13th 2026

This Autumn we are gathering a group that meets in London. The workspaces offered are the large studio and small skyroom in London and house in Devon.

WHO IS THIS FOR ?

Independent Performance makers/writers working in and across all creative contexts choreography, music, performance, fiction, non fiction , poetry, film, theatre,

Delve, draft, test, question, discard, run with or keep for later. This 10 Week programme encourages rawness, risk and reflection, and ensures that everyone’s work will be respected and supported equally.

Each artist / company will have:

Dialogue with fellow performance makers, 1:1 sessions with Caroline,option of use of work spaces : Large Studio or Skyroom (London) and house in Devon and a final work-in-progress sharing event in person in London

5 Group Meetings (in person London) facilitated by Caroline Salem.
Exact dates and time to be scheduled to suit all – we have pencilled
- Tuesdays 1 – 4pm, Wednesdays 10-1pm OR Thursdays 1-4pm
- October 6th/7th/8th, 20th/21st/22nd
- November 3rd/4th/5th, 17th/18th/19th
- December 1st/2nd/3rd
3 x 1 hour 1:1 Creative Practice Sessions in person or online with Caroline Salem
OPTIONAL 6 x 3hr studio sessions and / or 6x 5hrs Skyroom sessions Clarence Mews , and / or 4 nights in coastal house, Devon
Sharing Events with others at the end of the programme – audience will be invited by the artists who are sharing their work December 12th/13th

The artist meetings
During the regular meetings, facilitated by experienced maker, facilitator and ‘Relational Dynamics 1st’ coach Caroline Salem, the small group of artists will support each other’s process through listening, witnessing, communicating their experience and asking questions in direct response to the artist/collaborators requests. The artist/collaborators are in control of the ‘time’ allocated for their work in these meetings.

CONTRIBUTIONS (payments can be made over 5, 10, 20 weeks ):

The Core with no workspace hours £240

Plus £216 for 6x 3hr Studio sessions (London)

And / or

Plus £180 for 6 x 5hr Skyroom (writing room) sessions (London)

And/ or

Plus £240 for 4 nights in coastal house in Devon

There is NO expectation that you will use workspaces as you may have access to other space, or be working at home or outdoors

Applications are invited from choreographers / directors / writers / composers / designers who are making new performance work within or across any performance discipline (dance, theatre, performance, circus, music, theatre), committed to pushing the boundaries of their own process and practice within a mutually supportive context. Artists at different stages of their careers, and with a diversity of obsessions, forms and processes, are all welcome.
