Meanwhile, meetings with other artists prevent you from becoming isolated within this process. In these groups you will be in control of how you open up your work to others and how you might invite responses. Programmes are facilitated by experienced artist and mentor Caroline Salem. One to one creative support is also available.

The 8m x 8m studio, designed by Moving Architecture, has a double height glazed wall providing excellent natural light and access to a private courtyard garden. 15 years on, the wonderful floor keeps springing, a testament to the design innovation of the late Tim Heale. You have sole use of first floor kitchenette, bathroom, shower and a small reference library, so indulge – break for a coffee and a read.
